Rhamondre Stevenson had fumble issues to worry about after three weeks, and the Patriots running back's wallet took a hit before his team's Week 4 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

The NFL fined Stevenson $11,255 on Saturday for a facemask penalty in New England's Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets. In the second quarter, Stevenson's 19-yard gain was negated after his pinky got caught on linebacker Chazz Surratt's facemask in a stiff-arm attempt. The accidental grab of the facemask didn't matter to the referees, and an unnecessary roughness personal foul was called.

Since this was Stevenson's first fine, he was handed the maximum for a first offense for a face mask personal foul penalty. It was the first time this season that a Patriots player received a fine from the NFL.

Luckily for Stevenson, he signed a four-year, $36 million contract last offseason which included an $8 million signing bonus and $17 million in guarantees.
