The New England Patriots added another body to their offensive line room.
New England on Monday signed offensive tackle Jalen McKenzie to its practice squad, as announced by the Patriots.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound McKenzie, who has not played a regular-season NFL game, is in his third season in the league. He has played left tackle, right tackle and right guard in three preseasons.
McKenzie was released by the Raiders in late August as Las Vegas trimmed down its roster to 53 players.

The 25-year-old initially signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2022. After being released by the Titans, McKenzie spent his rookie season on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. The USC product then joined the Raiders practice squad in October 2023 before he was released.
McKenzie played both left tackle and right tackle during his four-year career with the Trojans. He played 42 games with 19 starts.
The Patriots signed McKenzie while dealing with multiple absences and injuries at the tackle position. Chukwuma Okorafor, who Eliot Wolf expected would serve as the starting left tackle, is no longer with the team. Vederian Lowe, who started at left tackle in Week 2, is dealing with an injury.
