The Seahawks won a thriller at Gillette Stadium over the Patriots, and their social team didn't waste time taking a victory lap.

Jason Myers hit a game-winning 31-yard field goal to give Seattle a 23-20 win over New England on Sunday. The victory came on the same day the Patriots celebrated the 10th-year anniversary of their Super Bowl XLIX win from the 2014 season.

Seattle showed a "visual representation" on X with a video of Kendrick Perkins infamously taking off his belt on "NBA Today" and slapping an empty chair with it. As you might imagine, the Seahawks were the 2008 Boston Celtics champion and the chair was the Patriots.

"No cap," Geno Smith posted on X.

The Seahawks X account followed up with a meme from "Good Will Hunting" that was captioned, "Simple Math," to highlight how they are 2-0 to start the season.

It was a tough pill to swallow for Patriots fans, but they'll have to quickly move on and focus on Thursday when New England takes on the New York Jets.
