Shohei Ohtani seemingly makes a play every day that baseball's never seen before. The Los Angeles Dodgers star took that to a whole new level Thursday evening.

Ohtani completely took over the game against the Miami Marlins at loanDepot Park to make MLB history. The two-time MVP went 6-for-6 with three home runs, 10 (!!!) RBIs and four runs scored with a pair of stolen bases. In that game, Ohtani became the first player in MLB history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in the same season.

Ohtani signed a record-breaking extension in the offseason and lived up to every penny this season for the Dodgers. Ohtani made a fourth straight All-Star appearance while leading the league in plate appearances, runs, home runs, RBIs, slugging percentage, OPS, OPS+ and total bases.

The 50/50 club is officially active. Of course the unicorn of MLB had to start another level to the history books. Ohtani now prepares for another first of his career: playing in the postseason.
