The Boston Celtics ran through the postseason on a dominant run to their NBA-record 18th championship, going 16-3 to win it all.

That included some pressure-filled, dramatic moments along the way. ESPN explored one of them in “Clutch: The NBA Playoffs” with a flashback to Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and the Indiana Pacers at TD Garden.

Trailing with only a few seconds remaining, Jaylen Brown drained a corner three-pointer to tie the game and send the game to overtime even at 117-117. The Celtics eventually earned the 133-128 win with 26 points on 50% shooting from Brown. ESPN captured the clutch shot for the Celtics in peak cinematic form.

The Celtics swept their way through the Eastern Conference Finals for their second conference title in three seasons. Boston then defeated the Dallas Mavericks in five games to win the 2024 NBA Finals. Brown earned MVP honors in both series, living up to the hype of his massive extension entering the season. Alongside star Jayson Tatum, the duo delivered to finally take advantage of Boston’s championship window.

Brown and the Celtics begin their defense of the NBA championship on Oct. 22 at TD Garden against the New York Knicks.
