It will be the first time in five years an NHL game will played in Quebec
The Bruins play the Kings in their penultimate preseason game, and there could be an added atmosphere to the exhibition matchup Thursday night.
Boston and Los Angeles will play at Videotron Centre in Quebec City. The B’s practiced at Warrior Ice Arena before traveling to Canada, and Thursday is the first of two games in the province for the Kings, who also will play the Florida Panthers this weekend. It will be the first time in over five years since the NHL visited Quebec.
Puck drop for Thursday night’s preseason matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The game can be streamed live on BostonBruins.com or ESPN+.
The Bruins on Wednesday claimed goalie Jiri Patera from the Vancouver Canucks, and they recalled top prospect Fabian Lysell ahead of their matchup against the Kings.
Boston’s preseason finale will be against the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena. Puck drop for Saturday’s matchup is scheduled at 5 p.m., and full coverage will be on NESN after an hour of pregame.
