Davante Adams reportedly is hoping to reunite with an old friend before the NFL trade deadline passes.
The Jets are atop Adams' trade wish list, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport. The star wide receiver reportedly told the Raiders he would like to be traded and Las Vegas "had conversations with several teams" since Adams filed the request, per Rapoport.
A move to the Meadowlands would reconnect Adams with legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The pair were Packers teammates for eight seasons, five of which saw Adams collect Pro Bowl honors. And most of Adams' career-best receiving marks (123 receptions, 1,553 yards, 18 touchdowns) were set when Rodgers threw him the football.
The 31-year-old reportedly is not dead-set on joining Gang Green, though. Adams, per Rapoport, is "open to playing for several other teams" and the New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys are among the teams that have either shown interest in the veteran pass-catcher or earned his seal of approval.

Significant financials also would be at play in any Adams trade. He has a base salary of nearly $17 million this season, and that number more than doubles for the 2025 campaign. Rapoport believes the $35.6 million salary for next season would be reworked by the Raiders or Adams' next team.
Las Vegas has until Nov. 5 to trade Adams.
