The Patriots could see a number of players return Sunday.

New England on Friday revealed game statuses for its upcoming matchup with the Miami Dolphins, leaving the door open for wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, safety/linebacker Marte Mapu and linebacker Sione Takitaki to all make their season debuts.

Takitaki (knee) was listed as doubtful, so you can read between the lines on that one, but both Bourne (knee) and Mapu (calf) appear as though they'll be available Sunday. The Patriots would have to activate any of those three players from reserve lists in order for them to play.

New England also left the door open for safety Kyle Dugger (ankle) and wide receiver K.J. Osborn (shoulder) to play, though neither took part in team drills at practice this week. The Patriots listed 13 total players on their injury report, with everyone but those two listed as limited participants.

David Andrews and Caedan Wallace were both placed on injured reserve earlier Friday, leaving the team with three open spots on the active roster.
