The New England Patriots and Houston Texans both saw stars return to practice Thursday.
New England was without running back Rhamondre Stevenson and safety Kyle Dugger on Wednesday, but the latter returned for the first time in over a week in a limited capacity. Houston saw an important piece of its own return, with running back Joe Mixon practicing, as well.
Stevenson remained absent with a foot injury he suffered in a Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
The Patriots made a couple tweaks elsewhere on the injury front, with cornerback Isaiah Bolden (hamstring) added as a limited participant and offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (knee) returning to full strength. New England also signed interior offensive lineman Ben Brown off the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad, so he made his practice debut.
