Boston Bruins fans can see three prospects in action Friday night when the No. 2 Boston College Eagles return to Conte Forum to host the No. 5 Maine Black Bears to open Hockey East play.
The matchup will feature two forwards the Bruins selected in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft: juniors Andre Gasseau and Oskar Jellvik. Dean Letourneau, the center Boston selected in the first round of the 2024 draft, will also be on the ice for the Eagles.
Puck drop from Chestnut Hill is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and you can watch all the action on NESN.
Gasseau has appeared in six games for the Eagles this season, notching one goal and two assists. The 6-foot-4, 209-pound Garden Grove, Calif. native lit the lamp 23 times and added 38 assists for 61 points across 82 games for BC.
Jellvik also has one goal and two assists in six games this season. He has 62 points (18 goals, 44 assists) in 82 games for the Eagles.

Letourneau has one assist in six games in his first season for the Eagles. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Ontario, Canada native formerly played for St. Andrew’s College, a prep school in Aurora, Ontario. He led St. Andrews with 127 points (61 goals, 66 assists) in 56 games in the 2023-24 season, including a league-best 25 points in 14 games in the Prep Hockey Conference.
The Eagles are coming off a weekend sweep of St. Cloud State, while the Black Bears swept Merrimack with back-to-back shutouts last weekend.
The two Hockey East rivals have met 133 times since 1979. BC holds an overall record of 68-55-10 against Maine with the last decision ending in a 2-2 tie. The Black Bears won the only other regular-season meeting, 4-2, during the 2023-24 campaign.
