The Boston Bruins will celebrate Jack Edwards’ legendary career Sunday.
Edwards served as the voice of the Bruins for 19 seasons. And the Black and Gold will hold a commemorative pregame ceremony before their matchup against the Seattle Kraken at TD Garden.
The former NESN Bruins play-by-play broadcaster had multiple iconic calls throughout his career, and here’s a look at his most memorable.
The respect for Edwards remains after his retirement following the 2023-24 season. From his former broadcast partner Andy Brickley, his successor Judd Sirott and the fans themselves, Bruins nation will always cherish the energy Edwards brought to the NESN broadcast. And they’ll always remember the best moments of his career. They’ll get another chance to thank Edwards on Sunday.
Puck drop for the Bruins-Kraken matchup is scheduled at 5 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage, including the pregame ceremony, on NESN.
