The Boston Bruins struggled to find their footing on Thursday night as they fell 8-2 to the Carolina Hurricanes to drop their second straight game.

The B’s found themselves in an early 4-1 hole in the first period and could not claw their way back into the game after that early deficit. They allowed three power play goals during the loss. This is the third time this season the B’s have allowed three power play goals during a game, and now have a 76% penalty kill on the year.
