Robert Kraft spoke success into existence for the Patriots last Sunday.

Kraft made his way down to the Soldier Field turf to watch New England warm up for its Week 10 battle with Chicago. The longtime Patriots owner briefly caught up with rookie quarterback Drake Maye and aired out some optimism before the matinee matchup.

“I have a feeling this is a good day today,” Kraft told Maye, per a mic’d-up video released by the Patriots on Tuesday.

Kraft was a bit off the mark. It was a great day for New England.

The Patriots put forth their best defensive effort of the season to date, sacking 2024 No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams nine times and limiting the Bears to a season-low three points. The Maye-led offense and New England’s special teams group did their part as well and the full-team effort culminated with a 19-3 win.

Maye didn’t forget Kraft’s prophetic message after the Patriots picked up their second win in three games.

“You had a feeling. You had a feeling,” the rookie quarterback told the Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist in the locker room.

Kraft will try to provide the Patriots with good mojo again Sunday when New England hosts the Los Angeles Rams for a Week 11 tilt.
