Drake Maye continues to make positive impressions, and not just on people who are employed at One Patriot Place.
Maye’s latest solid showing was last Sunday when New England put forth an admirable effort in Buffalo. Playing in front of a raucous crowd at Highmark Stadium, the rookie quarterback completed 22 of 36 pass attempts for 261 yards with a pair of touchdowns, including a gorgeous 28-yard connection with Kayshon Boutte.
Maye captured the attention of some well-known Bills players as he kept the Patriots competitive in Week 16. A mic’d-up video showcased a sideline conversation between veteran linebacker Matt Milano and star running back James Cook.
“Drake Maye’s nice with it,” Milano said.
“Yeah, he’s nice,” Cook replied.

Last Sunday wasn’t the last time the Bills will have a front-row seat to a Maye showcase this season. Buffalo’s final tune-up before the start of the playoffs will be Jan. 5 when it travels to Foxboro, Mass., for a Week 18 collision with its longtime division rival.
