A Boston Celtics assistant coach reportedly had his 2024 championship ring stolen.

Citing multiple sources, WCVB reported Thursday that Amile Jefferson’s home in Newton, Mass., was broken into. A championship ring was stolen while the C’s played the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena last Sunday.

The news of the reported theft came after a Wellesley, Mass., home where Jaylen Brown’s mother resides was burglarized Sunday. Police checked the home and confirmed an attempted break-in when they saw a broken window. The residents were at home during the incident.

Brown missed practice Wednesday as the Celtics play the Chicago Bulls at TD Garden on Thursday.
