The New England Patriots need to find a true outside threat at wide receiver to maximize their future potential with Drake Maye leading the way at quarterback.
Kendrick Bourne believed in New England when he re-signed with the team on a three-year deal last offseason. The veteran knows that the wide receiver room needs a star and knows exactly who the Patriots should target.
Cincinnati Bengals star Tee Higgins is set to hit free agency and would stand out as a No. 1 receiver on most other teams that don’t include his elite teammate Ja’Marr Chase. Bourne would love to see the Patriots win the bidding for Higgins when free agency rolls around in March.
“Tee Higgins, if you’re out there, I know they’re screen recording this,” Bourne shared in a livestream on his TikTok account. “Come to the Pats, bro. It ain’t what it seems bro. It’s gonna be lit. Drake Maye and Tee Higgins touchdown. Look how good that sounds.”
Higgins already tallied two 1,000-yard seasons since he entered the league in 2020 and stood out in Super Bowl LVI with two touchdown receptions. The Patriots need that type of production to take another step toward becoming a contender again.

For now, the Patriots finish the season with a two-game homestand against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Buffalo Bills.
