The Patriots displayed a special tribute for a franchise legend Saturday.
New England typically has team flags lead the group out before kickoff and one of those flags displayed “Moss No. 81.” Accompanying that visual was a video, which was shown on the Gillette Stadium jumbotron and published on social media, of the team showing their support of the Hall of Famer during his cancer battle.
“We got you Randy,” the Patriots post read.
This month, Moss revealed he was diagnosed with cancer after a cancerous mass was found in his bile duct, between his pancreas and liver. He underwent a six-hour surgery and is undergoing chemotherapy.
The former All-Pro wide receiver requested donations on his website where the money would go primarily toward cancer research.

New England’s tribute to Moss came in the first game at Gillette Stadium since Moss announced his cancer diagnosis. The Minnesota Vikings also honored the 47-year-old with Justin Jefferson voicing his support.
Moss took a leave of absence from his ESPN duties while undergoing treatments for cancer.
