New England, one week after they went 0-for-6 on third down against the Cardinals, converted each of its first four third-down tries. The Patriots compiled 141 yards of offense on their first two drives and took a stunning 14-0 lead in Buffalo just 15:44 into the contest.
Scott Zolak said exactly what everyone was thinking after Rhamondre Stevenson’s 14-yard touchdown run.
“Who is this team?!” Zolak exclaimed on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s broadcast. “Who are they?! This is an ass-kicking in progress.”
New England’s six-play, 58-yard drive was highlighted by a touchdown pass from Drake Maye to Kayshon Boutte. Stevenson’s run capped a 16-play, 91-yard possession thereafter.
