Juan Soto has had the baseball world in the palm of his hand this offseason.

Scott Boras, Soto’s megastar agent, isn’t willing to reveal when the sweepstakes will end.

“When you’re going through these things, he’s (Soto) just got a lot of information to meld through,” Boras told reporters at Blake Snell’s introductory press conference at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, per The Athletic.

“We’ve had meetings with a number of franchises. He’s begun the process of eliminating teams and doing things. Juan is a very methodical thinker, so we’ll see, but I don’t think anything is imminent in the near future.”

Rumors have surfaced that Soto will make his decision either before or during MLB Winter Meetings, which begin Sunday and go through next Thursday. Boras wasn’t willing to confirm those reports.

Soto has garnered interest from the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers. The 26-year-old reportedly received offers of $600 million or more from each of those ballclubs and started eliminating teams from his list.

The Athletic labeled the Red Sox as a “surprising force” in the Soto sweepstakes, and Boston apparently has pulled out all the stops in hopes of landing the superstar outfielder.
