Will Campbell might be the top offensive lineman entering the draft, but he doesn’t come without critiques.

The LSU product has been criticized for his lack of length while standing 6-foot-6 and 323 pounds. The shortcoming has many wondering whether Campbell is worthy of a top-5 consideration in the 2025 NFL Draft.

NFL Media’s draft expert Daniel Jeremiah, however, isn’t too concerned.

“Some teams will be more concerned than others with his lack of length, but I don’t see it as a major issue,” Jeremiah wrote while ranking his top 50 prospects.

Campbell ranked No. 8 overall behind Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty and others.

“He is just scratching the surface of his potential and should start at tackle for a decade, provided he stays healthy,” Jeremiah continued.

The Patriots hold the fourth pick in the draft and are figured to be among the teams considering Campbell. New England sorely needs to add talent in front of quarterback Drake Maye, and Campbell’s potential might be too good to pass up.

The Athletic’s Dane Brugler last month predicted the Patriots would select Campbell.
