Patriots fans don’t often agree on a lot of things, but they were united after Jahlani Tavai’s eye-popping comments.
The New England linebacker hopped onto WEEI for his weekly appearance on the “Greg Hill Show” on Friday. Tavai took time in his radio spot to admonish fans for booing during last Saturday’s 40-7 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and for chanting for Jerod Mayo to be fired. His “know your place” line obviously didn’t go over well with fans.
Fans sounded off in the replies and quotes of the video posted on the “Greg Hill Show” X account. They also blasted off on NESN.com. Here are a few of the highlights.

I know my place maybe he can start by not missing tackles — Zuko12
Players love to be showered with praise but act like cry babies when there is the first sign of adversity. This is the problem with the Patriots this year, rookies calling out coaches and players whining about fans!! — Sardog55

The Patriots don’t really have anything to play for Sunday and are more incentivized to lose to lock up the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. But for the fans who do show up to Gillette Stadium to watch the Buffalo Bills’ backups take on New England, it wouldn’t be surprising if they let their voices be heard.
