Mike Vrabel will be introduced as the head coach of the New England Patriots on Monday, the official kickoff for what should be a busy offseason.

Could one of his first moves involve bringing in a former player?

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons surely wouldn’t mind it, as he “liked” a post on X that suggested the possibility of that happening.

Simmons, 27, played some of the best football of his career for Vrabel, spending five seasons with the fiery head coach, during which he became one of the best interior defensive linemen in football. Simmons parlayed his success into a pair of selections to the Pro Bowl and a four-year, $94 million contract extension in 2023.

Simmons already shared how much he respects Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.

New England certainly could afford that number but will it be willing to make a blockbuster trade and part with premium assets?
