The Boston Bruins have just a few weeks until the NHL pauses for two weeks with the 4 Nations Face Off set to drop the puck in venues such as TD Garden.

Boston lost some momentum from impact home wins when they suffered a 7-2 blowout loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night. The team continues to fight for its hold on a playoff spot and has five games to surge before the break that runs to Feb. 22.

NESN’s Andy Brickley and Adam Pellerin previewed the stretch of games before the 4 Nations break. That slate starts Thursday night and closes out January when the Bruins host the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. ET. You can catch the game, plus an hour of pregame coverage, on NESN.
