The Boston Red Sox are going to bring Kristian Campbell to the big leagues in 2025.

When that is still hasn’t been answered, particularly regarding Campbell’s candidacy to win the second base job on the Opening Day roster for the Red Sox. His spring struggles may not prevent that opportunity, though Boston has less than a week to make that decision. If Campbell starts the season with the MLB club, he could be in for a big year.

CBS Sports’ Chris Towers made a rather large proclamation about Campbell’s potential for 2025 based on how the Red Sox factor him into the roster eventually.

“In fact, I’m willing to make a bold prediction right here and now: Campbell will be a top-five second baseman in Fantasy this season if he makes the Opening Day roster,” Towers wrote. “That’s still something of an if, but it’s one I feel more confident about than I did 24 hours ago.”

Campbell’s stepped up over the last week or so with a home run in MLB’s Spring Breakout Game series and wowed Red Sox fans with this highlight slide Monday.

The vision for Campbell’s start goes back to the end of last season. It’s up to the Red Sox to deliver the right baseball decision.
