March Madness is here, and the craziness has already started with the opening game of the NCAA men’s tournament.

Alabama State stunned St. Francis with a miraculous Hail Mary in the final seconds to advance.

While FanDuel Sportsbook has Alabama State at +100000 odds to win the National Championship, NESN’s Travis Thomas picked a different underdog to win the title when discussing the best March Madness bets on the latest episode of “Boston Has Entered The Chat” podcast.

“I bet on it. I have Florida to win the whole thing,” Thomas told co-host Kasey Hudson. “I wish I had got it earlier in the season. The SEC is historically good this year. … I thought Auburn and Florida were the most complete teams and also just consistent, going wire to wire. They never fell off a cliff at any point during the season. They were just consistent. Florida just got hotter later.”
