It was a night of firsts for the Boston Bruins as they picked up a number of career-firsts in a 7-2 win over the New Jersey Devils. Franklin, Massachusetts native Michael Callahan scored his first career NHL goal, and Fabian Lysell assisted on Casey Mittelstadt’s goal for his first career NHL point. Jakub Lauko scored his first goal since rejoining the Bruins from the Minnesota Wild, and Fraser Minten recorded his first goal as a Boston Bruin.
Morgan Geekie scored his thirtieth goal of the season, far surpassing his previous career-high of seventeen goals last season. David Pastrnak assisted on the goal for his 100th career point of the season. He is the first Czech player to record three consecutive 100-point seasons. The Bruins will face off against the Devils for a final time on April 15 to close out the regular season.
