The Boston Celtics traded the 32nd overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft to the Orlando Magic, NBA insider Shams Charania reported on the ESPN broadcast.
The Celtics reportedly acquired Nos. 46 and 57 as well as second-rounders in 2026 and 2027.
Orlando used the selection on France forward Noah Penda, who wore a Celtics hat as he shook the hand of NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
Boston added three second-round picks earlier this week when they traded Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers and Kristaps Porzingis to the Atlanta Hawks.

Stanford big man Maxime Raynaud was considered Jay Bilas’ best player available before the Celtics traded the pick. Boston was linked to the Stanford product during the pre-draft process, but ultimately Brad Stevens and company felt Orlando’s offer was too good to pass up.

Another wrinkle to the situation is that the Phoenix Suns jumped the Celtics and acquired the 31st overall pick from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Phoenix selected Saint Joseph wing Rasheer Fleming with the first pick of the second round. Charania reported the Celtics would have drafted Fleming if he was still available.
The Celtics drafted Hugo Gonzalez with their first-round pick (28th overall) on Wednesday night. The 19-year-old Gonzalez, who played the 2024-25 campaign with Real Madrid, has been praised for his basketball intangibles and ability as a 6-foot-6 wing.
Boston will be back on the clock with two second-round picks Thursday night.
