The Boston Red Sox might look a tad sleepy during their series-opening matchup with the Minnesota Twins at Target Field on Monday.

Boston was forced to make an unscheduled pit stop on the way to Minnesota, with their flight being grounded due to turbulence, as shared by The Boston Globe’s Tim Healey.

Could things get any worse?

Yes, actually, as they were forced to stop in Detroit.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora hilariously slept through the ordeal, and poked fun at his players for “supposedly” enduring the long night.

Boston will look to bounce back and win each of its final three games prior to the trade deadline, which takes place Thursday at 6 p.m. ET.
