Tom Brady’s Rep Sets Record Straight On Alleged Sofia Vergara Diss

Tom Brady and Sofia Vergara are certainly enjoying their summer so far.

After speculation began that the two might be dating,  TMZ reported earlier this week that the two are “both single and are definitely not a couple,” but are “having fun on a trip through Europe with a bunch of other celeb travelers.” As of now, they are classifying it as a “summer fling.”

However, things took a bit of a turn after the Daily Mail reported on Thursday that Brady “has made it clear that he is keen to stay single.”

“He sees Sofia as beautiful and his type, but he isn’t going to start a relationship with her as she is older and stuck in her ways,” a source told the outlet. “He knows he could only take her in small doses.”

Brady is now setting the record straight after these claims.

The former quarterback’s representative told PEOPLE that Brady “would never” comment on Vergara’s age.

“Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this. It is pure fiction,” the rep told PEOPLE.

Rumors about Brady and Vergara started after a photo surfaced of them on a yacht, with J Balvin standing between the two. Along with TMZ’s initial report, the New York Post added that Brady and Vergara “were reportedly googly-eyed over one another at a gala dinner,” and Brady even asked to switch seats with someone to sit next to her at dinner.

We’ll see if this turns into anything more, but for now, it seems they are having fun.
