For the first time in town history, Braintree is sending its Little League team to Williamsport to compete in the Little League World Series, making them our VA Hero of the Week!

The team posted an incredible 15-0 record in the regular season, powering them to a state title for the first time in over 70 years in a win against Walpole. 

Their dominance continued at regionals, outscoring their first two opponents 25-0, winning both games by mercy rule. 

Their ticket to Williamsport was earned in a 3-2 extra innings walk-off win over Bedford in the New England regional tournament.
