The Red Sox went into the Bronx and took a big series win against the New York Yankees over the weekend, in large parts thanks to Trevor Story! Story hit his 20th home run of the season, becoming just the third shortstop in Red Sox history to have 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in one season, making him our VA Hero of the Week!

Trevor Story launched his 20th dinger on Saturday during the Red Sox 12-1 win over the Yanks, which clinched the series win for the Sox. Story became the first player on the Red Sox to hit 20 home runs and steal 20 bases this season.

This is the fourth time Story has had a 20/20 season in his career, and the first time he’s reached this feat since signing with the Red Sox in 2022.
