Roman Anthony put on a historically good performance on Tuesday.

The rookie outfielder went 1-for-2 with one home run, one RBI, one stolen base, four walks and four runs in the Boston Red Sox’s 14-1 road win over the Houston Astros. In doing so, Anthony passed two Hall of Famers on an elite list and set a Major League Baseball record.

Per Red Sox stats expert J.P. Long, Anthony, at 21 years and 91 days old, is the youngest player ever to reach base five-plus times, score four-plus runs, hit a home run and steal a base — all in one game.

“The only others to do that before turning 22 are Hall of Famers Joe Morgan and Jimmie Foxx,” Long wrote in an X post.

Anthony seemingly records an incredible stat and/or joins an impressive list every day. He entered Tuesday alongside only Juan Soto on one list, and ended the day by joining Ted Williams on another. Anthony also began Wednesday with the second-best odds to win the American League Rookie of the Year Award.
