The Boston Bruins announced their training camp schedule and key dates ahead of the 2025-26 NHL season.
Boston is coming off a disappointing season as it failed to make the playoffs and was a seller at the trade deadline. The Bruins are hoping to compete for a playoff spot this season, and they’ll begin their playoff hopes in training camp.
The Bruins invited 28 forwards, 17 defenseman, and five goalies to training camp to likely compete for 13 forward spots, seven defense spots, and two goalie spots.
Boston’s 2025 training camp roster is as follows:
Forwards: Joey Abate, Viktor Arvidsson, Dalton Bancroft, John Beecher, Matej Blumel, Patrick Brown, Riley Duran, Michael Eyssimont, John Farinacci, Morgan Geekie, Brett Harrison, Tanner Jeannot, Mark Kastelic, Marat Khusnutdinov, Sean Kuraly, Elias Lindholm, Dans Locmelis, Fabian Lysell, Georgii Merkulov, Fraser Minten, Casey Mittelstadt, David Pastrnak, Matt Poitras, Jake Schmaltz, Alex Steeves, Riley Tufte, Jeffrey Viel, Pavel Zacha

Boston’s roster is led by the core three of Pastrnak, McAvoy, and Swayman.

Although the Bruins’ training camp is set to open on Sept. 17, the first on-ice practice will be the following day.
Boston’s first preseason game is on Sept. 21 against the Washington Capitals at home. The Bruins’ preseason and training camp ends on Oct. 4 when Boston plays host to the New York Rangers.
The Bruins open their 2025-26 NHL season on Oct. 8 against the Washington Capitals.
