The Milwaukee Brewers have never won a World Series and have only been to the Fall Classic once in their 57-year history, back in 1982.

Milwaukee will have a chance to get one step closer to a championship on Wednesday in Game 3 of their NLDS against the Chicago Cubs and former Boston Red Sox pitcher Quinn Priester has earned the start in the potential closeout contest.

“Quinn Priester is starting Game 3,” Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel posted on Bluesky.

The 25-year-old was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates with the 18th overall pick during the 2019 MLB Draft and made his big-league debut with the team in July 2023.

Priester was traded to the Red Sox in July 2024 and pitched just one game with the team.
