The Boston Celtics tip off their 2025-26 regular season in less than 48 hours.
The team knows they’ll be without superstar Jayson Tatum for Wednesday’s contest vs. the Philadelphia 76ers and for the foreseeable future, but All-Star Jaylen Brown’s status is also up in the air.
“Jaylen Brown went through all of practice today, according to Joe Mazzulla,” Jay King of The Athletic posted on X. “Thats probably a good sign for his availability in Wednesday’s regular season opener.”
“Joe Mazzulla said Jaylen Brown went thru everything at practice & they are waiting to see how he recovers. Jaylen said ‘we’ll see’ about playing Wednesday. Said he feels good right now and it was just a ‘little tweak’ of the hamstring,” John Karalis of The Boston Sports Journal added on Bluesky.
