The New England Patriots are on a short week as the team is set to host the New York Jets on Thursday in Week 11 NFL action.
New England is coming off an upset win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but in victory, running back Terrell Jennings suffered an injury. Rhamondre Stevenson, meanwhile, didn’t play due to a foot injury.
With the Patriots on a short week, head coach Mike Vrabel isn’t sure if either will be able to play on Thursday.
“Terrell’s being evaluated and we’ll see where he is,” Vrabel said at his press conference on Monday. “Again, today’s walkthrough, we’ll try to do our best with the injury report. We’ll see what he’s able to do. I would say the same with all those guys that weren’t available for the game yesterday.
“I think that they’re working extremely hard and I think that they – we’ll see what they can do with the walkthrough. They’ll probably do a little bit more and then we’ll try to evaluate so that we can make some decisions for the game.”

If Jennings and Stevenson can’t play, the bulk of the carries will go to rookie TreVeyon Henderson.
The Patriots selected Henderson in the second round, and he had a breakout game against the Buccaneers. The rookie rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.
New England is off to an 8-2 start and can take the top spot in the AFC with a win over the New York Jets on Thursday.
