The New England Patriots continued their winning streak in Week 10, as their 28-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave the team its seventh-straight dub. The Pats’ rookie talent was on full display in this one, as running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Kyle Williams combined for three of the team’s four touchdowns.
All season long, fans have been waiting for Henderson and Williams to put together breakout games. Turns out, they were just waiting for the opportunity to do so in the same game. Henderson racked up scores of 55 and 69 yards in the second half, while Williams put New England on the board with a 72-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
These are the sorts of big plays that the Patriots had been missing over the past few seasons. Getting contributions like this from rookies, though, is almost unheard of. In fact, Henderson and Williams ended up joining the legendary Randy Moss in a category of their own with their huge touchdown plays.
As Pats fans know quite well, Moss was perhaps the premier big-play threat in NFL history. While he managed to achieve this impressive feat on his own, Henderson and Williams found a way to make their mark together at perhaps the most important point in the season for New England.

With this win and the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Miami Dolphins, the Patriots have a two-game cushion atop the AFC East heading into Week 11. As we begin to reach the homestretch of the 2025 season, that could prove pivotal for New England moving forward.
While this win is a big development for the Pats, they will have to flip the page quickly because they have a short week on the horizon. New England will square off against the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football, as the team will look to earn its eighth-straight win in its return to action.
