The Boston Bruins earned their 18th win of the season on Tuesday night with a 5-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues on the road.

Boston was trailing 0-1 in the second period when Fraser Minten and Mark Kastelic scored within two minutes of each another, giving the Bruins the lead. Each player would tally another goal before the night was over.

Following the win, Kastelic spoke about the good vibes in the Bruins locker room right now, not to mention on the ice.

“It’s just really fun playing hockey right now,” Kastelic said. “Everyboday’s valued here … just having a blast right now. And the wins have been fun, too.”

Kastelic now has six goals, five assists and a plus-minus of +7 in 31 games this season for the Bruins. Kastelic’s physicality and production have earned him increased ice time and trust from Bruins head coach Marco Sturm of late.

Still just 26, Kastelic could be coming into his own as an NHL player. His journey began with the Ottawa Senators, who drafted him 125th overall in 2019. After four seasons there, he joined Boston in the 2024 Linus Ullmark trade.
