Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown is playing some of the best basketball of his career right now. He’s averaging the most points per game of his career and the Celtics are rolling, having won 10 of their last 12 games.
He also just won NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors, which he reacted to in his Twitch livestream on Monday.
“Five-game win streak, got Conference Player of the Week. We’re looking good right now, got some W’s in the chat. I ain’t gonna lie, I’m feeling great right now,” Brown said. “Hairline looking crisp…We enter the MVP conversation. That’s what I’m talking about.”
While Brown and his teammates are flying high right now, he knows they still have a long way to go and can’t take anything for granted. There are lots of ups and downs throughout a season, so it’s important to appreciate the good times, because they don’t last forever.
“You gotta take it one day at a time, ’cause when it’s going well, it could also flip and go the other way as well,” Brown acknowledged. “So even when it’s going well, you’ve gotta have humility, you’ve gotta have gratefulness.”

As an NBA champion and NBA Finals MVP winner, Brown has already enjoyed a ton of success in his career. He knows how difficult it is to achieve and how much hard work it takes to perform at a high level.
“In the midst of things going well, it’s been a tremendous week. Never forget the work ethic, never forget all the effort and the people that support you,” Brown said.

Brown also thanked his fans for their support and encouragement throughout the season.
“I give all the credit to y’all,” Brown said. “All the people that supported me from day one, this season is for y’all. That Player of the Week, this is for y’all.”
Brown will look to continue his stellar campaign on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
