Cooper Flagg has another productive night on Saturday, which has become a recurring theme in December. The Dallas Mavericks rookie star dropped 23 points, six rebounds, and five assists on the Sacramento Kings, although the Mavs lost.

With the outing, Flagg joined LeBron James and Luka Dončić as the only players in league history aged 19 or younger to record three straight games of at least 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Flagg entered the Kings game having shot 57 percent from three in his last four games. He was 3-for-4 from downtown against Sacramento.

Flagg asserting himself as a reliable three-point shooter is the final piece of his game that makes him virtually unstoppable on offense. When you add in his defensive impact, it’s miraculous how good Flagg is as a two-way NBA player at barely 19.

Through 32 NBA games, Flagg is averaging 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. He began modestly but exploded in December, with a career-high 42 points on December 15.
