The Boston Celtics are on a roll, as they picked up their fifth-straight win with a 121-113 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. For one of their old friends, Will Hardy, things aren’t exactly going as well.

Hardy was formerly an assistant with the Celtics from 2021 to 2022 before he accepted the Utah Jazz’s head coach position. With the Jazz undergoing a rebuild, it’s been tough sledding for Hardy, but he’s continually had the support of the franchise.

Utah entered the year hoping to be a dark horse playoff team in the Western Conference, but instead, it has struggled to the tune of an 8-15 record, with some ugly losses beginning to pile up. During the Jazz’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, Hardy could no longer contain his frustration, as he ripped his team in an NSFW rant.

“I’m tired of f***ing doing this every game. F***king play harder,” Hardy was heard saying to his team during the Jazz’s loss to the Thunder.

The Jazz still have an 8-15 record, but the team has looked particularly awful as of late. Hardy is clearly doing everything he can to try to get Utah on the right track, but the pieces of the puzzle aren’t fitting together currently.

While Hardy struggles with the Jazz, the Celtics have continued to exceed expectations as of late. They will look to earn their sixth-straight win on Thursday night when they square off against the Milwaukee Bucks.
