Things are going quite well for the New England Patriots, as they pushed their record to 11-2 with a win on Monday Night Football. The same thing cannot be said for their opponent, the New York Giants, who were handed a 33-15 defeat in front of a national audience.

While pretty much everything has gone right for the Pats this season, the opposite has been true for the Giants. They have already fired their head coach, Brian Daboll, and their defensive coordinator, Shane Bowen, and it seems like more changes may be on the horizon.

One guy who somehow still has his job is general manager Joe Schoen, despite the sheer incompetence of the team’s roster. With another frustrating loss in the books, the calls for Schoen’s head have only grown louder, and they certainly won’t be going away after he was over 30 minutes late to his Tuesday afternoon press conference.

With the broadcast being streamed online, fans were spamming the comment section by imploring the team to fire Schoen. Eventually, he showed up, but it’s clear that things aren’t great for the Giants behind the scenes right now.

As for the Pats, they are entering their bye week with all the momentum in the world. The team has now won 10 straight games, and is holding the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading into Week 14, although that will change if the Denver Broncos pick up a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

New York had a slew of problems before its latest loss, but getting manhandled by New England doesn’t seem to have made things better for the team. As a result, Schoen’s future very well could be up in the air moving forward.
