Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown has been more accessible to fans this year, particularly as he’s been streaming on Twitch consistently.

JB has discussed a lot of topics recently, ranging from the state of the current Celtics to anecdotes about his own career, like how Brown once felt the need to leave the Cs to spread his wings as a player, only to have Tracy McGrady advise him against it.

One of Jaylen’s most recent revelations was his all-time Celtics starting five.

This was an interesting one because it’s very difficult for anyone to choose among the Celtics’ various legends from the past when narrowing things down to five players.

Everyone can agree that Larry Bird and Bill Russell are locks for the starting five, but after that, there’s a ton of debate.

Jaylen ended up going with Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett to round out his Celtics five, and it’s tough to dislike these selections.

Fans taking umbrage with Brown’s list mentioned Bob Cousy, John Havlicek, and Kevin McHale.

Havlicek is the Celtics’ all-time leading scorer, with Pierce landing at No. 2.

Some fans even argued for Jayson Tatum being in the starting five. Tatum is No. 9 on the Celtics’ all-time scoring list, while Brown currently sits at No. 14 and is rapidly approaching Tommy Heinsohn above him.
