Last week was another good one for Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown.

Brown helped the Celtics go 2-1 last week, scoring at least 30 points in all three of their games. He’s now scored at least 30 points in nine straight games, matching Larry Bird’s franchise record from 1985.

Brown averaged 32.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.7 blocks per game last week with 56/43/80 shooting splits, continuing his career year and continuing to bolster his MVP credentials.

On Monday, Brown received NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors for the second time this month, winning it for Week 10 from Dec. 22 to Dec. 28. Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard won the Western Conference award after erupting for a 41-point game and a 55-point game.

Brown also won the award for Week 7 from Dec. 1 to Dec. 7. He’s a good bet to win NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month after scoring at least 30 points in every game this month.

This is the sixth time Brown has won Player of the Week honors in his career and just the second time he’s won it multiple times in the same season. He also did so during the 2019-20 campaign.

Brown’s been playing great basketball all season, but he’s been even more phenomenal this month, helping Boston surge into third place in the East.
