Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie trolled the St. Louis Blues after Tuesday’s 5-2 road win.
The Bruins began their three-game road trip in St. Louis, and Boston’s social media posted a photo of Geekie walking into the arena wearing a winter jacket. The Blues’ social media posted a screenshot of the temperature, implying Geekie didn’t need a winter jacket on.
It was a subtle shot at Geekie, and after the game, the Bruins forward took a shot right back.
Geekie’s post is about Mark Kastelic, who wears number 47 and scored twice in Boston’s 5-2 road win over the Blues. Kastelic gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead in the second period, and gave Boston a 3-2 lead in the third period, which ended up being the game-winner.

Following the win, Kastelic said he’s just having fun playing this season, which has helped him have success.
“I’m just naturally a bigger guy, so I try and take pride in getting (to the front of the net) and just trying to get in front of the goalie and get dirty ones like the one you saw tonight,” Kastelic said on Tuesday, as seen on NESN’s postgame coverage.
“I’m just trying to always improve in that area. Our whole line has the ability to get to the net. It’s fun to play that way.”

As for Geekie, he finished the game with 15:54 of ice time as he was held off the scoresheet.
Boston is 18-13-0 and in second place in the Atlantic Division.
