The Boston Celtics are red-hot, having won an Eastern Conference-best five games in a row.
NBA.com senior writer John Schuhmann shared a mind-blowing statistic on Sunday night related to the Celtics’ recent dominance.
“The Celtics went 162 minutes and 8 seconds of game time without trailing this week,” Schuhmann posted on Bluesky. “Led the final 28:47 vs. NYK. Never trailed @ WAS. Never trailed vs. LAL. Led the first 37:21 @ TOR. (Lost a 23-point lead to the Raptors, but still extended their winning streak to 5 games.)”
Boston’s longest winning streak of the season comes as four-time All-Star Jaylen Brown continues to put up career-best numbers and head coach Joe Mazzulla gets the most out of unsung contributors like forwards Josh Minott and Jordan Walsh.

The Celtics have a good shot at extending their winning streak to six next time out when they face the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night on the road.
The Bucks are 10-15 and have lost 10 of their last 12 games.
