The New England Patriots rallied from an 11-point deficit on Sunday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens to earn a 28-24 victory in Week 16. Several players delivered the goods for the Pats, but one of the stars of the show was undoubtedly wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
After a couple of quiet games recently, Diggs put himself back on the map with a monster performance against the Ravens. Diggs led all receivers in this game with nine receptions for 138 yards, and he had three or four different catches that could be considered his best of the night.
Not only was Diggs starring on the field, but he also played a big role in keeping his team invested in the game on the sideline. Things weren’t looking good when New England fell behind by 11 points in the fourth quarter, but a new clip has emerged showing him putting his leadership skills to use before the team went on to stage a furious rally.
The Patriots would promptly go down the field and score a pair of touchdowns on their next two drives, turning a 24-13 deficit into a 28-24 lead. K’Lavon Chaisson forced a fumble from Baltimore’s star wide receiver, Zay Flowers, which effectively ended the Ravens’ hopes of staging their own comeback.

On the season now, Diggs has 76 receptions for 869 yards and three touchdowns. With two games left, he has a decent shot a reaching the 1,000-yard mark, which is quite impressive considering the concerns that lingered around his availability to begin the season.
All that matters to Diggs and the Patriots, though, is whether or not they are winning football games. After taking down Baltimore in this one, New England will look to continue its winning ways in Week 17 when it takes on the New York Jets.
