Drake Maye is having an incredible season, and he continued his success by leading the Patriots to a decisive 42-10 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Maye completed 19 of 21 passes for 256 yards and five touchdowns. Although this performance came against a struggling Jets team with only three wins, Maye should have moved to first in the MVP odds.

However, Maye is still in second place, boasting +200 odds to win MVP as of Sunday, according to Fanduel. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is the clear favorite, sitting at -200 odds.

The Rams haven’t played in Week 17 yet, as they will face the Atlanta Falcons on “Monday Night Football”.

If Stafford doesn’t deliver a strong performance, he could fall behind Maye in the MVP race. However, since Stafford is clearly the favorite at the moment, a standout game could help him secure the award.

Many Patriots fans will be tuning in to see how Stafford performs and whether he can rack up a few hiccups that might boost Maye into the MVP favorite.
