The Patriots are gearing up for their first playoff game next weekend since 2021, and former New England tight end Rob Gronkowski believes that facing the Buffalo Bills would be the easiest matchup for them.
“I would take the Bills,” Gronkowski said Wednesday on “Up & Adams”. “Already played them twice, should’ve beaten them twice. They were up 21-0, then let down, and I think they learned from that mistake.”
Even though Gronkowski thinks the Bills could be the best possible matchup for New England, he is still afraid of Buffalo’s quarterback, Josh Allen.
“Josh Allen is the sacriest part of the Bills, and Allen will always be scary as a player, no matter what, until he’s not scary anymore,” Gronkowski added. “It’s the team of the Bills; you can run on them. They really don’t have the weapons for Allen.”

As Gronkowski mentioned, the Bills and Patriots met twice this season, and New England got the better of Buffalo early but let the game slip away in Foxborough a few weeks ago.
At this moment, it seems that the Patriots are the stronger team, but the Bills have a quarterback who can really lift an entire team, much like New England fans witnessed with Tom Brady for many years.
