New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye first won over Boston sports fans with his play. However, on route to this season’s MVP bid, the 23-year-old quarterback has impressed NFL fans with his maturity at the podium.
His wife, Ann Michael Maye, is quickly becoming just as big a star as the All-Pro gunslinger.
Her rise to fame began in December when her “Bakemas” TikTok series gained tens of millions of views. Following her viral success, Drake’s high school sweetheart has now signed a television deal with NBC Sports Boston for a new cooking show titled “Beyond Bakemas.”
The couple continues to take every step in stride, and “WEEI Afternoons” host Andy Hart is astonished by their blemishless public image.
“I think he’s doing the impossible,” Hart said. “I’m very cynical in my view of the world, and when something seems too good to be true, I generally assume it’s fake — it’s a facade — but I’ve got to tell you: these two cute kids are really changing the way I look at the world.”

The Mayes have been together since they were 12 years old and keep busy outside of football with their various charitable contributions.
“Every time I look up, Drake Maye is doing the right thing, either on the field or off the field,” Hart said. “And every time I look up, Ann Michael Maye is on my social media doing or saying something that’s like, are these just like the coolest people ever?
Everything they do and say seems too perfect. And normally, I would want to poke holes into it, and wait for the other shoe to drop… I’m starting to accept the fact that he’s an all-time great talent, and she’s an all-time great love story and woman behind the quarterback.”
